To be honest i dont know if there is any? the story i was told (by aN old racer) was the max engine was at its best when it had done a few hrs and the layer of carbon had reduced the squish area, also the carbon glows and conducts when hot helping with the burn cycle, if this is true or just paddock talk i dont know, but with the price of the max engine now, i will be running mine on synthetic.
