Thats correct.

We normally run 175ml to 5 litres and only use the fuel for one meeting.I never reuse it and with the old stuff just throw it in the lawn mower.
If you are using a jerry can have a look inside it and make sure that on some jerry cans the paint is not coming off, and that its not rusting.
Personally i use plastic ones and runse them out with fresh fuel everytime before filling with fresh fuel.
