Hi all
Well ive FINALLY got the kart on a track.
Went testing at PFI yesturday, shame it was a bit wet, mostly dried up by 2, but then had to leave!!!

After some initial trouble with the flywheel coming loose and the clutch bell seizing (turmed out to be a simple loose nut) I got some propper time in, and now i need some advice (please!)
As i had not driven a rotax, or indeed a 2 stroke before, i wasnt expecting the power valve to be so pronounced once it kicked in, the first question is this:
Should it feel like an immediate doubling of power? or should it be a little more progressive when it kicks in? If so, what can i alter?
Next question:
WHERE do i want this valve to open? Lets say im on the first corner, which is long and quite fast, i was having trouble in that i was basically "riding the valve" all the way round the corner, it was trying to open, and had i been hit, for example, could have fully opened breifly and spin me of.
Do i want the valve top open before or just after the corner?
