Ask the kiddies (your Granddaughters) and you'll find it STILL is..... they HAVE to have the RIGHT phone!
Actually, they don't have to have a phone at all! It's parents who don't have the gall to say "NO" that exacerbates the situation. We can all come up with arguments to justify, the sweet little darlings, having these intrusive items. But when you really examine their "NEEDS", it is just that parents just want a quiet life and are happy to let their kiddies be part of the "I WANT IT NOW!" culture and let them join the flock of sheep. Baa Humbug.
I'm really grateful that Christmas has passed, my jaw was aching from constantly making that statement.

I will treat that comment with the contempt it deserves.

Ive had enough of this thread, as it appears that we have both "lost the plot". That's normally a sign of dementure setting in.
