I think there is way too much emphasis on this engines great and that isnt. Maybe that driver is better than the other one!!

The only way to have significantly better engine is to cheat, because the factors are so small when an engine is fiched it cannot possibly make a poor engine amazing.True a rebuilt engine will allways be better than a tired unit with twenty hours run on it.But then thats what you would expect.

Unfortunaetley too many people get sucked into parting with large sums of money for a race winning missile, however how do you know that was even the engine used to win umpteen races.Call me cynical but i expect not, only if you removed the engine while it was still warm
at parc ferme.

Here is an interesting little story for you,
My sponsor once sold two yamaha factory kits to customers after i won the early season national at cadwell park, and they just had too have one. The reality was my new kit was at cadwell but sat in the truck not even fitted to my Tz 250.The bike was just as it came out of the crate the week before apart from suspension changes, gearbox settings and carb set up. Apparently they said the bike was flying, no their right hand wrist just wasnt up too speed!!

I have just picked up a new 09 engine this week and plan to run in and use at kimbolton next week, i will let you all know if its a rocket ship after then........
