Thanks everyone, that all seems sound advice. I've got my eye on a JKH 2008 chassis and just wanted to check it wasn't a well known lemon in the TKM paddock, and everyone wasn't going to ask me why i didn't buy a 2006 model..

NJB, am i standing at the back of the kart for this check, and do i just sight the gap down each side of the kart, either side of the seat? Thanks

iant, do i measure the gap between the stubs and the bottom of the straight edge / axle, or do i just eye it up? Thanks
