Yes we were at Knockhill - we went up on Saturday to help some customers setting up their LP Tents (just as well considering the weather) and stayed right to the end as we were having so much fun watching the karts!
We have been in JB for 3 years now and the thought of going to a class that need a TKM style start would put me off but if the starts are as easy as you say there shouldn't be a problem.
Plan is to pick up a s/h outfit next year to learn the ropes as we can't race for another 2 years (unless we go into Jnr GB but that doesn't look likely).
We spoke to a few folks in the pits - you weren't parked near the clubhouse with a white "Caravan" awning were you?
