I have been suffering with a lack of revs from my rotax. i have tried every thing i can think of now

tried going using 155-168 jets over one day
Using differant exhausts
using differant fuel pumps
switching betwen K98 and K27
Needle heights
Batteries.

The last time it woked correctly was a race day at ellough when it was very wet. The motor was strong that day and the 2 previous days before. (before that it had a waranty job by the engine builder)
on this day i failed to make the running for the second heat becasue in my haist i forgot to remove the clutch lock. after a few mins i realaised but it was too late. the starter switch was damaged. Since then i have had problems for RPM. the bottom end power is great but it wont rev correctly above 12.500 rpm. sometimes it just goes flat.

Could this fault be a faulty loom ???? Im stumped and after 5 months of trying im at the end of my tether.
