1/2 turn on the bleed screw should be enough to allow fluid to flow.

Is the arm of the master cylinder fully back in its rest position when you bleed the caliper?

If there is a loop in the brake line it can act like the loop in the fuel tank line and retain an air bubble even though you see no air at the bleed nipple.

It can help to raise the back of the kart.

You can blow down the bleed tower and this can force the air through.

Make sure you close the bleed nipple while fluid is running, to prevent air being drawn back in.

Sometimes a few quick pulls on the brake pedal with the tower on (with its top in place) can force the air through.

Do you get a good flow from the bleed nipples?

It could be that the seals in the master cylinder are worn or have shrunk due to lack of use.

If these things don't work, I would reseal the MC.
