The 03 is likely to be better than the 08, 04 and before were hand built or built by a differnet process, producing more good carbs.
But later carbs can be good too.
Also depends on what verturi suits your track and engine type best.
8.5 for mini and twisty tracks
12.5 for junior and senior on faster flowing tracks, but if tight and twisty 8.5 tend to be better.
All advice for prevo carb. evo carb is totally different.
