A couple of things to try:
We had problems on our Iame Cadet (tilletson but I think different from the easy kart one) chased and checked everything, turned out to be the little 'O' rings on the jets, they hadn't split but had swollen, leaking air causing massive mid-range fluctuations.
Other thing is that you shouldn't ultrasonic clean too often
