Don't stress, new, out of the box we left the engine 5-6 months of out most weekends before getting it serviced & it was a strong engine! Plugs changed when needed & air in tyres. She just got in & drove it. Use it as a learner driver tool for the driver & don't mess about with mechanicals. TBF we took this approach too last year when she outgrew the bambino & just drove a std set-up honda P1. Seems to have worked!
