Let's not let this post start the x30 v rotax argument again.
We choose to race in what ever formula we want and pay the money to compete.
For what it's worth, we race in both junior max and X30 so Im not going to say ones better than the other.
Rotax drivers have benefitted from the decline in numbers to allow the club racer to buy motors that were mega bucks when it was booming. This has levelled the playing field, the evo kit is very good as well.
I can also state that my X30 which has done 10hrs straight out the box from new has been trouble free. Also we are within a couple of tenths off the front runners and the engine has never been touched. You do need to set the carb up though which is probably where you think you can see "big engines"
