I think the blue and green top engines are great as we used them for two years without any issues. Its a great engine package. And very cost effective.

We used the digital ignitions without any issue.

As far as I remember there were no real issues. Starter motors needed a mod to the brushes, but that is the same for all IAME starter motors.

We used a metal plate between the engine and engine mount, this I believe dampened a particular resonance, again this is used across many classes including X30 I believe.

SPA Race Engines service these engines and will be better to advise on running hours.
