I'm thinking of getting a formula blue engine (junior) just to use on practice days and maybe for some non msa racing. Performance wise, it'll give me what I want but I have some questions about reliability and about the variations out there:

Firstly if run correctly, on decent oil, are they genuinely ok for 20 hours between rebuilds?

Do they have any particularly week or problem areas?

Electrics, is there any reliability difference between old analogue and newer digital versions and as a buyer how do I tell the difference?

Anything else to be aware of or look out for?
