Would be grateful if someone could give me advice regarding OTK disc carrier. Basically, is it ok to run 2012 onward carrier turned around (reversed)? This will make the angled mounting lugs lean toward direction of rotation rather than away. Disc will be mounted to outboard end of carrier rather than inboard. The reason for this is as am using this later carrier on a 2008 chassis. Due to caliper mounting position this is the only way I can use the full length of the keyway within the new carrier. I'm wanting to do this as this carrier has a wider mounting surface around axle and should end run-out problems with old carrier? Without turning carrier around have approx. 1 inch of keyway "unused" on inboard side of carrier. Am running large diameter, 16mm disc. Any help/advice greatfully appreciated. Many thanks. Richard.
