All Max was doing was pointing out that the best way to improve is to race. Practice is great and you may find the best braking point and the best line round every corner but in a race you may not be able to use those if another kart is in front of you but a bit slower and so you have to find a way of overtaking. Racing is the best was to improve your competitive skills.
