We had a 2 month break, i hoped and prayed that he would find something else to occupy his mind but unfortunately he didn't....so off we go again ! I can assure you after 10 years no amount of nostalgic thoughts will make me return to karting regardless of how equal we are told x30 engines are, which we all know they aren't. Engine carbs and exhausts are all the same as rotax, when the teams and engine builders business totally reply on gaining an advantage with equipment the x30 class will be exactly the same as rotax. Unless you got Ł20k to spend in x30 you wont get near the top 5 and definately wont win the british champs, x30 engines are starting to go the same way as iame cadet engines now with the dads moving up. So dads and lads racing is best done at club level....it might be more enjoyable and you will only be beaten by the ones bending the rules and not full time teams. Love the banter...but you are quite correct...ironically about what i am doing.....keep it coming ..lol
