That's a big drop.

Have you checked that you haven't got a chipped reed that is starting to disintegrate.

Is the flex sealing ok and is is the same length as before?

Have you removed the ignition stator and not set it back on the maximum advance?

Is there any chance that you swopped the jets over?

Depending on the oil you use, could the ring be sticking?
