I don't see substance in the theory on the cornering, but always willing to learn.

A fuel filled float will raise the fuel level and richen the overall mixture.

That's why you use the float weigh as a tuning aid.

From memory they are 3.6 and 5.2 grams., together with the associated jets.

A flooded float could possibly hold 1 1/2 cu millilitres of fuel and increase the weight by 1 1/2 grams or more.

A noticeable difference would be experienced in performance.
