We're on a 2014 Tony EVK chassis and had to change the upper front bar to a newer CIK 2015 marked version and then later through 'trial and error & our misfortune' we then had to change the bumber locking clamps to newer style one's which you could exert/load more pressure onto the upper & lower front bars to try and hold the bumper brackets in place!!!
P.S THE OFFICIALS on arrival of the karts at parc ferme (karts had to be presented without front bumpers attached) were also measuring and checking the upper & lower front bar central spacer bracket for conformity!!
Think they might have been looking for signs of anyone using superglue, mastics, double sided adhesives etc. to ais/support attachment.
