I know it appeared that I was generalising, and am not going to go over what has already been said, there are always 2 sides and completely respect your experiences and that's fantastic. I can only comment on what I saw that day and am not the only person with the same opinion (and not all of those who said the same had children racing). I am a genuine lover of karting and my son very much looked forward that day to learning as much as he could. As far as wanting to defend a corner and not just letting people through...don't know many aspiring drivers that would just give up a place without trying to defend it? And several comments by teams instructing their drivers to drive through if they couldn't get past were witnessed directly by myself so whilst some may not, some definitely do!
