Several comments here skirt close to 2 major problems facing MSA karting today:

1. The regulations, which - as drafted - actively promote poor driving

2. Governance - vested interests in the decision making bodies, including actively avoiding involvement of the customers themselves

it's no surprise that the kart championships mentioned don't have either of these problems.

Unless and until the customer community does something, the "sport" will continue to decline.

PS bandit1200: Iame final cut short due to a novice losing control in the boot, rebounding from tyres and being struck by another kart. Mercifully ok, I understand, but the club's insurers might be interested to learn that it has decided not to comply with MSA regulations!
