Respect is definitely the key word and one that appeared very absent both on track and off.
From my very limited experience so far we have seen elements of both sides of the respect spectrum, thankfully though the overwhelming majority have been at the positive end!
There are a fantastic range of options for anyone looking to get into karting its a fantastic family to be part of and hats off to all those that strive to give us the opportunities to race at all levels and in a variety of classes/karts.
We choose where we are because thats what our son wants to be doing. We make sacrifices (I think we mostly all feel each others pain there!) but his drive and ambition is what drives us. It would be easy to say we can't compete so we give up, but he has a 'no quit' attitude which I love and admire. Children learn by what they see and what they hear so the more people that hang on in there and bring respect with them the better it should be, right? (a little naive maybe but...).
