It's an age old argument...there ARE those with money that use it for good and with a lot of class and treat all with respect but they are a rare breed these days.
We have found karting to be a fantastic learning ground, have met some amazing people and it has given our son a real focus and taught him so much both on and off track and has helped develop his character, strength and will to succeed in a way that a lot of other sports wouldn't and I am proud of that and it would be incredibly sad for the sport to lose that which it does for our children. Just gutted that those he was looking forward to racing against and learning from disappointed him so much!
He will learn a lot more for his later career from those that genuinely love and care about the sport and with a bucket load of hard graft thrown in ;-)
