I would recommend that you run with a well known team and have one to one during holidays as this will bring your child on more quickly but in the end it is down to experience and seat time, can be frustrating in the beginning but very enjoyable when he gets up to speed :-)

not sure about the spark plug choice of Steve as we always run 31 in the dry and 29 in the wet......
