The X30 starter costs Ł162. If you're going to charge that then it better last a bit. Alan tells us the fix is cheap and easy.

Karting is moving more and more towards the arrive and drive model as people are less and less inclined to get their hands dirty. Even those of us that are happy to have to contend with issues of convenience. How many young home owners have a garage for instance? Lots of people don't even rebuild their own carbs. Karting is adapting to these times with TAG and arrive and drive but starters need to be a fit and forget item or they are pointless. Either that or they need to be cheaper so you can carry a spare and treat them as a consumable.
