I would like to thank Atllrr for his help on x30 starter motors ,we have been running rotax for the last 5 years and have never had a starter motor problem and if we have had a problem with a piston they have always been sorted out by a warranty with no expense spared whilst in x30 while there seems to be a big rising support for this class the price for rebuilds and the cost of spares which seems to be very high and doing a costing excersise are at least 20 percent higher and sometimes a LOT more the cost of running one is not at all cheaper than rotax , a price comparison can be supplied so whilst the class is increasing in popularity I await to find out at the end of the season if it is actually cheaper to do than rotax I think not
