as someone thats around X30's most weekends I've seen a massive difference in the amount starting compared to when it first came out last year over here.
I had my moan about the starter and they called me and were true to their word and changed the brushes when they said they would and they now last a lot better. So they actually did something about it.

(You will see something too soon regarding another class with a much more serious problem. so things do get done.)

They include the upgraded ones with a new motor ready to fit too. (They are shifting so many motors worldwide for a small company i guess fitting brushes to each starter would increase costs for the motor, so as its a hands-on engine with no seal they chose to just throw them in the box haha)

I don't push the class on reliability of the accessories. Iv always said it will not be cheaper to run round to round I just say its much better to drive, the concept is more logical and i like the adjustable carb and the closeness of the motors which will stop the silly prices for moped and generator engines with poor tolerances.

People go into the class with their eyes open. It will break reeds if you go for the very thin ones and the starter will need checking between meetings. I guess people just drive it and think its worth them little drawbacks.

I have a great time driving the engine. and for me thats all that matters over everything else.
