I've had a problem before with the fuse corroding & not passing current, but that's soon cured with a blob of Vaseline on fuse when installing
We've been using the same loom ignition on the 100cc Lynx Formula Blue motor for 4 years now & never blown a fuse though & never heard of one blowing, most likely an installation error ie a short somewhere/damaged wiring somewhere
