Quick question, hopefully one of you more experienced guys can give me a quick answer.

Engine started fine on the stard (DD. started with a belt) but the kart would not fire up under load when being bumped off.

quick solution at the time was to put another carb on and kart when off first push.

any explanations or answers on the above would be a great help for a novice trying to learn the sport.
