.....not that I need to justify my actions in this, but, as you are clearly keen to get involved.....

..it's a bit convenient that you have listed the costs, which I will take it from you are accurate, with what I suppose is a suggestion an extra Ł150 was paid for something or other??, but that you have strangely failed to mention that in fact there was damage to that engine when I agreed for him to carry out the rebuild work, the costs of which not only included the rebuild but also to repair/rectify that damage .......... with also, apparently, some additional parts that had to be replaced

so, theres your answer, I hope that clears that up for you
