Hi - we are moving out of minimax having done a years racing. Here's a few - We got picked up on metal washers on seat stay bolts - had to replace with nylon/plastic. Weight - this might be obvious but 135kg minimum kart plus driver - mark safe fuel level for weight if running close to minimum. Battery terminals need to be taped over. Rear tyres/rims - width must clear leading edge of side pods with a straight rule. Make sure metal carb top circlip retainer is secured under air box jubilee clip. Check kart has a brake disc protector bolted to chassis. Oil breather pipe from engine must have small catch tank attached - as does radiator expansion tube as well. Cheers Herb
