We are looking to do our first race (Minimax) in a couple of weeks time. Not raced before and am a bit apprehensive ref potential non-comformities that may crop at scrutineering. Have restrictors fitted, engine sealed, log-book etc, latest airbox, need helmet "sticker" etc. Thought I was set up but this weekend when changing gearing was informed that alloy sprocket guards no longer legal so have replaced with nylon. I know it's a big subject but would be grateful to hear of any show-stoppers or typical "errors" that beginners tend to fall foul of. (Track is Bayford). Thanks in anticipation. Richard.
