Sorry i didn't literally mean just change the name. But usually manufacturers update their tyres every year or so with an'improvement' whilst maintaining similar longevity and performance.

For example Bridgestone has had:
YGB>YHB>YJB

Although some manufacturers changed the naming convention when CIKFIA insisted they have Prime and Option rather then soft medium and hard.
