just curious as to why intrepid have three bearings where others only have two such as otk?
especially when most run the third floating, why not just remove it altogether?
at the track at the weekend testing and the tywrap that was holding it in place snapped and the lad said the kart started hopping, obviously it was the carrier biting on the axel when it came loose, ive secured it inplace again which sorted it out but has now got me thinking its pointless having it there at all and maybe it could be causing some drag on the axel as he says he sometimes bog out of the corner. quiet sure it s not the carb or his driving causing it and maybe its not releasing the axel fully out of the turn.
any views would be appreciated.
