I realise I'm a bit behind the times here but am updating sons Minimax kart to current legal airbox prior to competing. Have purchased up-date kit and read (everywhere) that filter and frames carry-over to later airbox. However, my filter and frames removed from old airbox do not transfer as they are not rectangular, as required by new airbox. Am I missing something here or has there been an intermediate change in airbox that this kart may have missed? Thanks for any replies.
