I understand where you are coming from but having a good set up must play a key part in developing driving. You can't just use the same set up for every condition.
The right set up is a must for maximising the power available to you from the engine and grip levels, if I am correct?
Then from there you concentrate on the driving side of things until it all comes together.... Process of elimination and trial and error.
