However, there's been an engine around for the last 15 years with all the advantages that are being claimed for the X30, namely the Formula Blue. It's even made by Iame too.

It's also handicapped for weight so that a 50kg driver and a 100kg driver are on a level playing field.

Which would seem to suggest that you haven't been that worried previously about the disparity of performance but chose Rotax for some other reason.

Whatever those reasons were, there was the option of choosing a class where engine performance has been provably close for many years.
