The only difference between a mini and jnr max is an adjustment to the squish gap to allow the engines to rev more freely. There are some questionable driving standards in jnr max but then again there is still this deluded attitude that drivers must be super aggressive to succeed.
Jnr X30 looks interesting but then again the racing instinct is to mix it with the best- picking up a tin cup racing in a grid of 6 seems a bit empty. There is a lot of nonsense surrounding Rotax about vintage carbs and barrels produced in January '09. When JAG and S1 offered a pooled engine series no one was interested was this fear that the myth might be exploded!
All agree that there are too many classes in MSA karting so which ones will get the chop- TKM? Rotax? Iame? KGP? Honda?Formula Blue?Comer?
The question is are we getting vaulue for money at MSA meetings and are very short duration heats and finals causing kamikaze tactics.
