There was a bloke who raced at Kimbolton around 2008 who made starters for TM motors.

I have a friend who bought one. He may still have it and he may want to sell it: I'll ask.

Push starting is so damned easy, you are being a bit silly.

Starting with a rope/strap is utter madness. I won't explain why but...... just imagine what happens if it slips off the tyre onto the axle and jams itself while you are holding on to the other end..... probably wrapped around your hand/wrist.........

Yes.....ropes/straps will work PERFECTLY safely 99 times out of 100........ but...... just the smallest piece of bad luck...... and your day is ruined...... or possibly, your life!
