Some interesting answer will appear on this subject as there are always going to have folks own personal opinions as I think there are lots of karts and engine configurations that suit different drivers in different ways personally I run the new otk evk expirt kart with a TMkz10 B and find it a very good package both in dry and wet conditions but I would also consider trying the energy and crg to see what suits you best I cant comment on how fast the vortex is but I do race against a few with them they seem very quick in a straight line but seem to loose out slightly on corner exit compared to the new TM but to be fair there doesn't seem to be much difference in performance between any of the kz engines but I can however claim that the TM seems to be are far more reliable engine than the vortex as I know lots of guys that have full rebuilds and found they haven't even lasted a race meeting without piston problems as for the pavasi I raced against one a few months back and it surprised me how bloody quick it was but saying that it did have a very good pilot and engine builder with it all weekend but saying that the super 1 kz champ runs a brm with a TM motor so it's a bit of a mind field what to go for but for easy set up and drivability it would have to be a tonykart with TM engine all day long for me
