The engine of choice for the senior 2 stroke direct drive class is TKM extreme with a few blues thrown in. Now and again someone turns up in a kf or whatever they are called but soon realise its a hollow victory and to be fair Bob usually steps in and says you can race but the result is void. Saves trophy hunters turning up and blowing everyone away on power alone.

I would advise you to seriously look at this class as the racing is brilliant, it doesn't look like anyone is doing something daft with engines and the majority are on the good old bt82.

Tyres are open meaning you can use any tyre on the market, you see a mix of tyres on the grid from maxxi to vegas and I am not sure if anyone has found the ultimate dry tyre yet for the class but in the wet the vega w5 is a must if your serious about being at the sharp end.

I can't stress enough how good this series has been for us and if you want to get back into karting then I would highly recommend it.
