I know there has been quite a bit of debate about possible changes in the formulation of TKM Maxxis slicks over the course of this year, but has there been any variation seen in Maxxis wets?

I have a brand new set of wets bought at the beginning of the year that Im planning to use this (very?) wet weekend.

I recall first reports that suggested the new TMK wets were rubbish. Was this early rubber, conditions, or lack of appropriate set up? Any insights appreciated!
