I was also talking about S1. Yes we have won at S1 with an off the shelf engine.
I understand that there are other manufacturers that have produced more reliable motors than of old but why are they not out there in the numbers that Rotax are?
Also to pick up on a warranty and reliability point you raised Rotax/JAG have acknowledged that there was a production issue with a batch of pistons that has been a common factor in a number of failures in the last 12 months, all damaged motors have either been replaced or repaired with new parts at their expense without question even after being raced for 7 or 8 months. John asked how many provide a warranty? Answer 1.
