My previous posts having been answered (regarding what I believed was poor running on stand) to a point which made me believe I was being overly pessimistic and was about to run kart for first time, have now discovered water leaking from the water pump "indicator" hole! Think this may have been the problem all along, probably seen as much steam as smoke! Sounds bad, does this mean a rebuild? Level not dropped in rad but read should not run. Any "cheap" solutions for this?
