Just compare the earlier heat times to the second final times at Clay S1. Loads. Tyres were a mess. I think we missed something all day. Maybe higher tyre pressures. Interesting what deanwigan had to say about side walls.
As for lap records. Look for sunny days, moderate temperatures and high barometric pressure. Sometimes found in March/April.
