Measure the wheelbase - which is the perpendicular distance between the two "axle" lines. The front axle is imaginary, but you can use string or a straight tape line on the floor. Then measure the horizontal distance between the "balance pipe" midpoint and the rear axle. The FRONT end in the weight ratio is found from the following:

Rear axle to balance point
-------------------------- X 100
Wheelbase

So if you've got a wheelbase of 104.5 cm, and the kart balances on a pipe 45 cm in front of the rear axle, the calculation above comes out as 43%, giving a front:rear distribution of 43:57.
