For me it was lack of money that stopped me racing, I couldn't afford to keep up with buying new tyres, doing two race meetings a month to stay on pace etc. If money was no object then I'd probably have raced more often and even gone on to do a season in S1. In short it wasn't the desire to race that was lacking, it was the lack of money.

I'd of thought that for many ex senior karters the reason they stop is that they run out of money and have no space left on their credit cards.
