A few little follow ups to my previous threads about MSA TKM in the North.
This weekend at Hooton there were 3 of us, which doesn't sound many except compared to when I was the only one, but it was great racing, with all 3 within a couple of tenths of one another. This is progress and definitely the way forward - we only need a few more entries before "I'm not racing because the grids are too small" stops being a valid reason.
SYKC have their annual Cock of the North meeting at Wombwell on October 12/13, and have been in touch to say that they only need one more TKM entry to get 6 on the grid so that TKM can have their own race rather than a split grid. I'm aiming to be the 6th entry, but if anyone else is interested it sounds like it will be a good one.
Finally - the idea of a 2014 Northern TKM Club Championship has so far received extremely positive responses from Formula TKM, 3 clubs, and pretty well every driver that I have spoken to. There's still a bit of work to do to iron out the details, but I'm pretty confident it will be happening.
